Slightly cooler water and air temperatures have flipped the switch to wide open for many of our inshore fish. Reds have absolutely been crushing mullet as they head out towards the ocean, and therefor anglers have been having great success using live or cut mullet for bait.In addition to the natural bait, the reds have been blowing up on topwater plugs early in the morning and late in the evening when fished near the shallow flats that are holding reds.
