Inshore:

How bout a flatfish bonanza? Yup, the flounder bite is as good as we have seen it in several years and they are chomping hard on live minnows and live mullet, as well as the new zman PogyZ soft baits. Fish around the edges of rock piles in 3-8ft of water for best results on the flatties. Big bull reds are still being caught in solid numbers around the Jetties and the inlets, and the Tarpon bite has kicked in strong in the same areas with a legit report of a good friend of ours hooking 6 in one morning just earlier this week! Trout, while most have been smaller fish, continue to produce steady action on live shrimp and Zman DieZel minnows fished along creek mouths and shell rakes in 3-6ft of water.

Offshore:

The vast majority of all the offshore reports this past week have been from the bottom fishing side, with good reports of large sea bass, vermillion snapper, and some nice grouper coming in from 80-125ft of water. Squid and cigar minnows have been producing well for the sea bass and vermillions, and butterfly jigs as well as live pinfish on the grouper side. The few trolling reports consisted of a decent wahoo bite in 140-250ft, and some slinger dolphin hanging around in 120ft.
