Haddrell's Point: for the love of Fishing

Why Shop at Haddrell's Point?....For the Love of Fishing!

Haddrell's Point Tackle and Supply took to the web a few years ago with the goal of providing the rest of the world with the same personal service, expert advice and Lowcountry charm that we've provided the Charleston, SC-area with for the past 27 years. We're committed to not only providing you with the finest products available at the lowest prices, but to also making sure you have the best experience possible each and every time you do business with our company.

With so many reasons to shop at Haddrell's Point, it'd be hard to name them all. Here are a few of the most important reasons you'll love doing business with us:

No Sales Tax - For all orders billed and shipped out-of-state (not in South Carolina), your order comes to you free of sales tax. With all the money you'll save since you won't incur these extra charges, you'll have plenty left over to add more Haddrell's Point goodies to your shopping cart!

Free, Fast Shipping - All purchases of $200 or more are shipped to you for free! You're only $200 a way from receiving this awesome offer, so take advantage of these huge savings and start filling up that shopping cart! In addition to huge savings on shipping, most orders ship out of our retail store the same day they're placed! With the exception of backordered or factory-direct shipped items, your order will be on its way to your house within one business day of your check out.

Low Prices - Being a small town business run by hard-working folks, we know first-hand what it feels like to be taken advantage of and forced to pay marked-up prices. We know you work hard for your money and deserve to get the most out of it. We also know you're more likely to come back when you see how fairly we price our products. So rest assured, you're getting a good deal at Haddrell's! We want to hear if you've found an item we offer selling for a lower price somewhere else. We'll always do our best to match the price or, at the very least, explain the reason for the discrepancy.

Huge Selection - With nearly 3,000 items and growing on our web store and more than 15,000 in each of our retail locations, we're sure to have what you're looking for! If there's something you can't find online, just give us a call and we'll let you know if it's an item we stock regularly. If it's not something we carry, we'll be happy to place an order for you if possible. We're here to serve you, so any suggestions for products we should add to our site are greatly appreciated.

Unbeatable Personal Service - When you've been in business as long as Haddrell's has, your customers become more like family and friends. We know almost every person that walks in our front doors by name, as well as what type of fishing they like to do, what kind of boat they drive and what their Labrador's name is. We know it's not as easy to have a personal experience when doing business over the internet, but we want you to know we're a website run by people, and there's always a person here for you to talk to. Our store's owner, Mike Able, gets here daily at 7am, and will gladly take your phone call at any time. Call 1-800-881-5201 to speak with Mike or with any of our knowledgeable staff that are always here to help.

Knowledge & Experience - With 6 licensed captains and 2 professional mates on staff at all times, there's always someone here to answer any questions you might have. And, with our employees' ages ranging from 16 all the way up to 86, you have the benefit of learning about tried-and-true methods from the good ole days, as well as new, cutting edge techniques for catching the big one.

Warranty Convenience - Not only is Haddrell's Point one of the oldest Penn Warranty Stations in the United States, we're also a satellite warranty center for Shimano, as well as a Quantum reel warranty center. All Penn, Shimano and Quantum reel purchases come not only with the manufacturer warranty, but also with an additional year of warranty coverage courtesy of Haddrell's Point.

Safe, Secure & Private - Haddrell's Point guarantees that your credit card information is safe with us! Our site uses the latest in encryption technology, digital certificates, secure e-commerce servers and authentication to ensure that your personal information is secure online. Haddrell's Point also uses digital certificates from GeoTrust, a trusted third-party Certification Authority. This digital certificate serves as a unique identification card that proves we are who we say we are. Haddrell's Point uses 128=bit encryption for maximum security for communications over the Internet. Furthermore, Haddrell's Point ensures that your information remains safe and private through our back-end systems. We are constantly aware of fraudulent orders and take preventative measures if we see any suspicious orders. Your privacy and information security is extremely important to us.

Conservation Commitment - Haddrell's Point Tackle has been a lifetime member of the CCA (Coastal Conservation Association) since 1985. Mike Able, our store owner, was part of the association before it even was "the CCA", and played a vital role in not only creating the club, but in much of the organization's success, too. In addition to being an incredibly active member of the CCA, Mike also serves on the Saltwater Recreational Fisheries Advisories Committee, which he was appointed to in 2008. Here, he helps to oversee and vote on recreational fishing rules and regulations. We at Haddrell's know that the only way to ensure our children and our children's children get to experience the simple joy of fishing is to do our part in preserving and protecting our natural resources. We encourage our staff and customers to practice catch-and-release when enjoying our ocean's bounty. To become a member of the CCA or to find out more about the organization, click here.
